RESIPE MOBILE APP

PROJECT OVERVIEW
Resipe is my personal project, to create a social media application for cooking content. It is an application that allows users to post food recipes, and each post will act like an interactive digital note for people to use and successfully make a dish. This app might help people save time and effort in cooking, especially for people who work late or just do not want to spend too much time on food. Anyone can share any kind of recipe they want, and they can freely explore and choose in their preference.
Many people struggle with cooking after long workdays or lack confidence in preparing meals. Some others just have a love for this activity, they have experience with high quality dishes, want to challenge themselves and want to share those with the world. Existing recipe platforms often function as static recipe libraries. Resipe aims to transform recipes into interactive digital cooking notes that support real-time preparation, personalization, and social sharing.
DESIGN BRIEF PROPOSAL
Project's Name
Resipe – A Social Cooking Companion
Resipe combines “recipe” and “rescue,” representing the idea of saving time, reducing cooking stress, and helping users confidently prepare meals.
Brand & Project's Background
Resipe is a proposed mobile social media platform focused on cooking content. The idea emerges from the growing reliance on mobile apps for everyday problem-solving and the increasing demand for fast, convenient meal preparation among busy users.

User Personas
User Scenarios

Storyboard

These users value time efficiency, clear guidance, and the ability to personalize their cooking experience. To meet their needs, the app must function as an interactive cooking assistant rather than a passive recipe library, providing step-by-step instructions, grocery checklists, personal note features, and fast search tools that reduce effort while cooking. The interface should avoid cluttered layouts, dense text, and hidden navigation, since users often interact with the app while multitasking and need quick visual clarity. Observations suggest that users engage with the app in short glances during active cooking, meaning large touch targets, readable typography, and simple workflows are essential to minimize friction and support confident task completion.
